A typical day volunteering in the library
After you sign in with the office, you will make your way to the library. Set your belongings down behind the desk and sign in. Check the volunteer board to view today's tasks. Check both red carts to determine whether they need to be emptied prior to beginning today's tasks.
Empty a red book drop cart by scanning each book and placing them on the blue cart with chapter books on one side and flat skinny books on the other. Leave books on the blue cart until Ms. Wolfe can break them apart.
Begin today's tasks on the board. If you have a question, just check with Ms. Wolfe. If she is with a class, it will just be a moment. Feel free to leave notes on the task board. Remember to sign out before you go. Check out with the office. Thank you for helping to keep our library in tip top shape for our Tigers!
